All businesses should use this approach! Especially huge companies who are so big that they often seem and do actually forget about what should always drive them: the customer. The customer is king in the world of business.. the customer has the power to choose, to differentiate, to buy, to refuse to buy, to be loyal or not. Only those companies which CARE about the customer go far and detach themselves from the competition..
